What 2 or 3 topics in science are most interesting to you? Why? Why do you think these topics should be interesting to others? What information do you think would be most important for people to know about these topics? Science Essay
ReplyDeleteI have to construct a Science essay. My science essay is going to be about Tsunamis, Natural Disasters, and Volcanoes. My first topic that I am going to write about is going to be Tsunamis. I think that Tsunamis are so awesome. But I know for sure that if I were to ever see one then I would be the first one running.
Tsunamis are a serious disaster. The damage is catastrophe. Many people around the ring of fire should definitely be aware of Tsunamis. Also when you are moving get information about the place you are going to move to. Such as if it had any Tsunamis, Earthquakes, etc. One thing people should know about this topic is always be aware when you go to the beach, because a Tsunami can kill you.
The next topic is Natural Disasters. This topic is interesting to me because I learned some new information. One thing is that Tornadoes don’t always go at low speeds. They can reach up to 100 mph. I think that many people should care about this topic (Natural Disasters) because they need to be aware about their environment. One thing that people should know about this topic is that they can get a lot of information from this and they can choose wisely about where they are going to live at.
My last topic is about Volcanoes. Volcanoes are very interesting to me. And after watching this video I had learned more about volcanoes. People should care about this topic because if they live near a volcano then they have to know what type of volcano it is, and the effects of it. Information that people should know about this topic is that most volcanoes are found around the Earth’s Plate Boundaries. Also known as the Ring of Fire.
That is my Essay about the three topics, which are Tsunamis, Natural Disasters, and Volcanoes. One thing to always remember, BE AWARE… Also always have a ready kit ready. That contains food, water, batteries, flashlight, and clothes.

I have that the health organic food is very healthy for you because all of the food is natural and if you eat organic food you will be very healthy if you are having a baby and you eat organic food the baby is being very healthy and so are you and I think that if you eat fruits that you just got out of a tree or a plant that is 100% organic food and fruits is very healthy for you and they all so good.
I think that your skin is a very important part of your body because your skin protects every part of your body. Your skin is your first line of defense against all sorts of bad stuff. Our skin prevents bumps, cuts, and bruises from damaging your internal organs. New sells are mode on the bottom layer were a group of cells is constantly in your skin I think that its is very important to take could care of your skin because your skin needs to be clean so no bad stuff could get in your skin and your skin also needs very important stuff you also have to watch out of what you eat because sometimes you eat something that your skin don’t like and it give you bad skin you could have bumps all over your skin you could have bad skin and also your skin could be very bad that you could die from bad skin that you have and you could also have damaged skin.
I think that babies are really important to learn about because for you to make babies the cluster travels through the woman’s reproductive system it passes through the fallopian tubes into chambers called the uterus during nine moths the fetus floats around in a protective having amniotic.
I am going to be typing about how you can watch science and you can see 3 video that I watch in brain pop about Snowflakes, Hurricanes and Seasons and also I would say that I will type about how it is interesting to me. How you can see that its important to other people that should care about the topic that I will be writing about and last but not least about how people should know about this topic.
ReplyDeleteThe first topic that I will be typing will be about hurricane’s I would say that this is interesting to me because I think that people could sometimes escape but not all the time because they are rapid and they could destroy fast. I think that people should care about hurricane’s because you can save your life from one that saves your life I think that people should get information from this topic because they can be call tropical siclone.
The second thing that I would be typing about would be snowflake because the thing that is interesting about snowflake to me would be about how they are different shape in different climate the snowflake changes. I would say that people should be interesting because you can learn about all the different kind of snowflake in clouds . I will say that you see that they are different kind of germ in the snowflake
The last thing that I will be talking about how I can talk about the seasons because I will say about how I am interesting about seasons and how we can live with those 4 seasons and you can should see that people care because you can see that you could love change and you cant want the same seasons so that’s why you should change.

An that to much rain could cause a river to flood the sarounding of the plane. And that what I found out interesting.
Now I’m going to talk about rainbows. I found out that you could try to walk to a rainbow and never reach it. People should care about this topic because rainbows show up when water bounces off the floor. There was funny part when he said to Moby their a rainbow and then Moby ran to the rainbow and found treasure and the Tim was like oh don’t worry he really didn’t find that at he end of the rainbow.

ReplyDeleteI have 3 topics for the science essay they are crystals, plastic, and the big bang. Crystals are not just pretty solids. Plastics are not always good. Do you know about the big bang? Well read on to find out.
Crystals are interesting to me because they are pretty cool and are growing solids. People should care about this topic because we eat solids like salt and sugar. The information I would give away is that crystals grow in caves and some are made out of carbon. Crystals are shiny and pretty. Everyone should remember that crystals are not only pretty but can be colossal.
Plastics are interesting to me because I care about the environment. People should know plastic couldn’t be rid of so easily. Plastic can ruin the environment because most of it is man made. People shouldn’t reuse plastic just recycle it. That can save the environment.
The big bang is all about how space began. Space interests me because it’s cool to think about. People should know about to find out how our universe works. The information

My three topics interest me and I enjoy learning about them. Crystals, plastic, and the big bang all fall under science. To me science is awsome and I like it. It makes me happy to learn and know so much. Science is an important subject.
On Thursday we finished session one of the math MCAS. On Tuesday when we finish the second session we are going to start a science project. Dealing with science or health. I picked (gills, bruises, and shark attacks). These videos were the most interesting ones to me.
ReplyDeleteGills. Fish can actually breathe under water. Gills work only on cold blooded animals. Lungs are gills to people. That is my first topic.
Bruises. Its normally blue and purple mix. Bruises is also knowned as a contusion. After 15 to 20 days the bruise fades away.
Shark attacks. Shark attacks are really rare. The reason that the number of shark attacks are going up is because more and more people are swimming in the ocean. If you are bleeding do not go in the water, shark can sense blood from miles and miles away.
Those are the 3 topic I chose. Those were the most interesting vidieos to me.
Science Project:
ReplyDeleteThree topics that I think are important to us is one our periods, puberty, and lastly obesity. One of the reasons why I think that our periods is important is because it helps us to learn about our body and more to know about what to do when you have this. I think that your period is important because you get to know what happens when you get this and that nothing Is wrong its just your menstruation happening. Then lastly I think that obesity is important because you learn about how to keep your body healthy and not to get overweight.
Puberty:
I think puberty would be important to others because puberty helps you to learn about your body and the changes that go on as you get older. Then also because it get you to know about the changes that go on in your body more. Something’s to know about puberty is that how it happens is that hormones are released from the pituitary glands that make this process start to happen. And that when you have this is what brings you into becoming an adult. Then lastly when you have puberty in girls it starts from 10 to 11 when you have puberty and for boys it is 12 and 13.
Periods:
Okay how can I start, I think that your period is important because especially for girls and not boys (they Don’t Have It). Is because when you have your period you would want to know why this strange thing is happening to you, you might even be like “ am I dying what ‘s wrong” thankfully your not but anyway its is good to know what things and changes are going on. Things to know about your period is that not everybody’s is the same so if your friends is different than your don’t worry. It may even take a couple of years to even out. And also there are different types of hormones and the hormones that cause your period are not the same. Then lastly you get your period from ages 9 to 19.
Obesity:
I think that obesity is important because I think that people should know that obesity is really high populating in the U.S.A and that’s becoming to be a problem lots of people die each year from this. And that obesity is a really important matter and its not good. You should care about this because then you would know that it is important to avoid any possible things like this to happen. Then some thing to know about obesity is that when a person builds up a dangerous amount of body fat. And that B.M.I means (body mass index). Lastly that when you people get this fat or in other more sophisticated way (obesity or are obese overweight) you can be putting your life in serious danger so be aware about what you eat and stay healthy!!
Conclusion:
I think all these things are a really important topics. Like obesity its about being overweight and that’s really good so stay good and healthy. Then there’s puberty and how your body changes. And then there is the period make sure you keep care of your body.
My three most important health videos are Broken Bones ,Burns and Obesity. Broken bones need special treatment to help them heel faster. Burns happen all the time, so be careful. Obesity can cause you to have diabetes or even worst. Be careful about what do and eat because it could lead to bad thing happening to your body.
ReplyDeleteBroken bones is an important subject. Most people just fracture bones. That is really not breaking a bone. If fall, you call fro help. The reason I think this subject is important is because you could get really hurt, if you don’t know what a fractured or broken bone is. Broken and fractured bones are really important for people to know. So be careful and don’t break any bones.
Burns happen all the time. Most people get burned by the stove, and over get burned by fire. That is why people shouldn’t play by stoves or fire. You could really damage your body and health. People need to know about the 3 types of burns you could get. If a burn go deep down in your skin, you could need a doctor. The 2 other burns don’t need a doctor. Don’t get burned!
Obesity is a big cause in the U.S now a days. Most people die from being overweight or obesity. You must be careful about what you eat. People should know about body fat and their health. People die because they are 25-30 pounds over their weight. Just be careful about what you eat and how you eat food. Most people could die because of this cause.
Those three subjects are important because now you see how that effect life and you could die. Please be careful about most of the thing you do, to hurt your body and most effects could you, your life. Excising could help you pervert dieing or getting hurt.

Today I am going to be talking about important and interesting facts on health and science, such as space having to do with comets, health as in talking about your appendix, and last but not least, which also has to do with science I will talking about why its not good to get FAT. So some of these things you will find important and some you will find cool, well at least I think so.
Well the first thing that I am going to talk about is space having to do with comets. Did you know that it takes the Hyakutake comet 72,000 years to orbit the sun? Yeah I know it’s really cool it takes the Hyakutake that long because it holds old dusts and gas, so it takes the comet longer to formulate all the gases and dust.
Health, what do you know your appendix?
So if you don’t know im gonna tell you about it. Your appendix is that small tube that dangles off the side of your large of your large intestine. Your appendix is just an organ that is apart of your body, everyone is born with it, doctors say that your appendix is vestigial that means your appendix has lost most of its use. If it starts to hurt that means you probably have something called appendicitis and you should probably seek medical attention quickly. So if you getting your appendix removed don’t worry its better that you do.
Now I will talk about the Earth’s Atmosphere and what it is about and what it does. Did you know that the earth’s atmosphere is made up of gases its like a huge blanket covering the earth. The gas that covers the earth is argon, carbon dioxide and others like oxygen and nitrogen. The earth’s atmosphere has 5 layers, the troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere, and the exosphere. All of those things protect us.
This is why we should know these things aren’t all this cool I think so. So if you didn’t know this now you now.

The three topics that I choose to read about were boogers, sun, and also faces. I wanted to read thee topic because they were the 3 topic that were the most interesting to me. I chose the topic booger because I wanted to learn why do people have boogers and from where they come form. I chose sun because I wanted to know what is the sun made up and also I wanted to know what does the sun does to you. I chose the faces because I wanted to know why do people has different type of faces and also I wanted to know why do people have different part of features in their faces.

What I learn from seeing the topic booger was that I learned how they are made and I learn that when your nose has boogers in them I learn that is a good thing because that means that your body id working how it should and also when you have boogers is to clean and protect you. When you want to clean your nose the best thing is to take a tissue because picking you boogers is not a good thing because when you do that you get germs and also your nose is dirty. I also learn why do boogers are different kind of colors and I learned how much boogers we made per day. Also we have boogers because what we breathe is not safe for us and it needs to be clean. Also people should know about this topic because they need to know what do boogers do to you and also why we have boogers.
Sun
I chose this topic because I wanted to learn about the sun. What most interesting thing that I read about the sun was that the sun is made up of hydrogen and helium and I found out that the sun’s photosphere is close to 6,000 degrees calicles. The sun can damage your skin and also you can’t look straight at the sun because then we would get blind. We are very lucky to have the sun where it is standing right now because if the sun is to close to the earth it can be to hot and if the sun it to far from the earth is can be to cold. People should care about this topic because people should know what does the sun can do to you and also that the sun can light up the whole world .
Faces
I chose to read this topic because I wanted to know why do the features in different people don’t look the same . I learn that people that live cold and hot part of the world don’t look the same . The way your face look can tell about what kind of person are you . people should care about this topic because they can know why do people have different kind of color skin and also why are your lips , eyes , are different from other people .When you live in cold places you tend to have small nostrils because of the wind and the coldness .People that live in warm parts you tend to have bigger nostrils because you have to breath more air .
This is what I learn from reading the three topics faces ,sun , and also boogers . I learn many things that I didn’t knew before when I read these topics . I have why people have different eyes shape , nose , and also your skin color . I also lead that some of these things many have an effect to you if you don’t know how to take care of it . I learn how do the things start and how to they end .
Volcanoes
ReplyDeleteVolcanoes are very unpredictably interesting. They should be, seeing how a lot of people are curious to figure out why they happen and what causes them to happen. To me I think there interesting because I always wondered about volcanoes when I was little. Wondering why they erupt and how did they just suddenly appear out of know were. Something I would say everyone should know is that a volcano happens when pressure builds up causing hot molten rock from the earth’s mantle to push through the surface. Touch
I think touch is a very interesting topic because there are many different types of textures. There are a lot of textures but how can we tell the difference. I think others should wonder how feeling and telling the differences works.
Information that I think people should know that tiny nerves send information about sensations to your spinal cord then to your brain.
Earthquakes
Earthquakes are interesting to me because I have never experienced one before and it’s good to know why they happen so I can be aware. I think other people should be interested in this topic because it is something that kills lots of people and it should be really safe knowing that it happens pressure deep inside the earths surface or crust is broken up into about a dozen major.
The earth is made of 3 basic layers. The core, mantle ,crust are the three basic layers. The crust the part we live on we can only see the very top part of the crust. The crust is about 5-10 kilometers thick in the ocean. 35-70 thick in the continents. the mantle is made up of a mixture of elements such as silicon , magnesium ,iron ,and OXYGEN. The upper mantle are soft and plastic which makes the tectonic plates to move around the lower part is made of solid. This is what earth is made of what helps us.

The troposphere is the lowest layer it is most known as the weather land. thermosphere is the hottest layer. There a lots of gas in our and that’s why the sky is blue.
Global warming is important because if global warming happens we can all be dead.
Global warming means that the earth is warming up. It is most common that greenhouse gases. When the sun produces heat the earth keeps it then gas traps it and that how the earth get hot. Just like a green house. Greenhouse effects can cause a lot of the things. That’s why they are trying to make a new way.
How we can cool down the earth. An ice age is ice that cover the earth. Some scientist call the glaciations. Ice age can get the earth real hot. Some times the earth can melt the ice it self. Ice ages can cause global warming I think they said that.
To me I think that world is having a lot of thing going on and to me we need to find a way to solve it before it gets worst. Because

ReplyDeleteThe topic that I have chosen was aliens, shark attacks, and rainbows. I have chosen these topics because, they are very interesting. You will read about why these topics are interesting, why other people should care, and what information should people about this topic. You want to know what so interesting about these topics read on and find out.
First is why these topics are interesting. The alien topic is interesting to me because, people always say they have been taking by aliens or they say they saw them in a UFO. I want to know if they are really real. The other topic I think is interesting is shark attacks. This topic is interesting because, I wanted to know why sharks attack humans for no reason. Like what have we done to them? I just think sharks are mean. The last topic I think is interesting is rainbows. I say this is interesting is I just like them and I want to learn more about rainbow.
Second is why people should care. For the first topic people should care for many reasons. Like we might make them upset by any way and they might do some weird thing. Or they could destroy earth. One day on the news they told that a guy that is from France said we should not try to contact the aliens because, they have a bigger army then we do, and they could destroy us. The other topic is sharks. Other people should care about shark because; people sometimes get bitten when they are in the water for many reasons. Also if people don’t care about this they could get bitten them self and they could die or lose a body part because of that. The last topic is rainbows. People should care because; they would try to catch a rainbow or go to catch one. But they will never catch it.
The last paragraph is what information should people know about these topics. The first topic is aliens the information for them is sciencetist are trying to find more planets. So far they have found 200 planets out of the solar system. The second topics information is jewelry and flashy clothes attack sharks. Other piece of information is splashing a lot could be mistaking that the person who is splashing is a dolphin or fish, which is their favorite dinner. Also if people have cuts they shouldn’t go into the water because, sharks can smell blood up to miles and miles away. The last thing is people should not swim in the ocean at night and dawn because, those are sharks hunting hours. The last topic information is after it rains the raindrops on the ground act like little prism and they make rainbows in the sky. Also when the white light goes through it makes a rainbow.
In conclusion all of theses topic are really great. So people should try to look about these topics even more they are very intersecting.
I chose to write about hair, nails and acne because they seem interesting, common, and I wanted to know why these things where there. Everyone has hair if not on your head some were on you body. Everyone also has nails. Most preteens and teen have acne. With is why I chose to find out why these things are there and why we need them
ReplyDeleteI wanted to find out the way hair grows and it’s peruse. I thought it would be inserting for people to know about our hair and how it grows. Hair is there to protect your body. Hair has the same ingredient as nails called keratin. Hair is also apart of the integumentary system along with nails and skin.
I was very curious on why we have nails and why it is so bad to bite them. I also thought I other people would be wondering the same thing and that it would be interesting if we knew the reason we have nails. Nails are apart of the integmentary system that is in charge of protecting your body (along with hair and skin).nails are made up of the same ingredient as hair called keratin.
I think acne is very common in preteens and teens. Zits are formed when your sebaceous gland produces to much sebum and your pores get clogged with oils and dead skin cells. I thought people would want to know about why and how acne happens. There are whiteheads, blackheads, and pimples that would show up when you have acne. You could over the counter prescriptions and go see a dermatologist.
I figured all these topics (hair, nails, and acne) where very common. You see them mostly everywhere especially in high school and middle school. Since this thing is so common I would think every one wood want to know why and how they are there. That is what I thought when I saw the topics. Watching and learning about these topics I begin to be come more intere
The science topics that are most interesting to me are food chain, extinction, and the human evolution. These three topics are all part of the ecology and behavior of our world. Extinction is when animals are gone for forever because of environmental factors. The food chain is the process of a creature eating another creature. Human evolution is where we came from. I think these are the most interesting science topics that revolve around Earth.
ReplyDeleteThe food chain is compelling because living creatures depend on each other for nourishment to help them survive. People should care about the food chain because we have to be mindful that our actions can affect the animals around us. It will also affect the way of life because if little fish go extinct the big fish will run out of food to eat, which will then cause a long line of problems for the environment. If the food chain were tinkered with it would cause chaos for the human race.
Extinction is riveting because I like to find out how and why animals get extinct. We should care about this topic because the change in environment can cause animals to be gone forever. For example scientist believe that most of the dinosaurs were killed by a change in the climate. The information that people should know is 99% of that entire animal that ever lived on Earth is gone forever. Scientist estimate that 11 species on Earth become extinct every hour or so.
The human evolution is the process by which life forms change over the generations. The oldest found hominid is the Sahelonthropus tchadensis it lived about 6 million years ago. Over the years the hominids became taller, they had the ability to make fire, and building relationships. We should care about this because it is amazing to find out how we developed during our lifetime.
Extinction, food chain, and human evolution are important topics of our world. The extinction of a species is crucial to our ecosystem. If the little fish were extinct the big fish would have nothing to eat, if the big fish die of starvation the bears will have nothing to eat…and the process will continue. Extinction has a lot to do with the food chain, and the food chain has a lot to do with human evolution. If there was noting for the hominids to eat we would not be here today.
I am interesting in extinction, food chains, and human evolution. All three of theses topics are under ecology& behaviors. Each topic deals with extinction. For example in the topic food chains if another species extinct the other spices whom eats that species dies out. I believe that food chains, extinction, and human evolution are riveting because they are the most ecology factors of our environment.
ReplyDeleteI find the topic extinction interesting because it is interesting to find out how and why spices become exiction. For example know that dinosaurs extinct because of the meteor, but not because of the climate change .I want people to know that extinction is important because what if the spices we need or rely on die out. We would end up extinction as well because we need that species to survive or live off of. Also did you know that 11.million species die in 1 HOUR!
I also find the topic food chains interesting because it’s cool to find out what eats what and what will happen if one of the species we at extinct. People should care about the food chain because what if one animal dies out and the others start to die out as well. It would lead to the animal we most rely on, and then we die out as well. For example just like our ancestors, the hominids. Plants make food by using photosynthesis. Which leads me to the final topic I find interesting.
Lastly I find Human evolution interesting because it’s a way we find out how far we got in life. We started out as hominids and became the humans we are today. Also how we probably looked like in the Paleolithic age. People should care about this because it is great to find out how we advanced in our lifetime, from the Paleolithic age to the end of the Stone Age into the Neolithic age. Did you know that the oldest hominid found was the sahelonthropus tchadensis?
In conclusion extinction, food chains, and human evolution falls under the topic ecology & behaviors. 11.MILLION species die every HOUR. Plants make their food by photosynthesis. The oldest hominid found was the sahelonthropus tchadensis. More people should be watch full of their behavior because it can affect the environment.
I thought that the most interesting to me was bulling, and tornadoes because bulling happen everywhere in the world and the tornadoes are destroying the world, homes and the worst is the families are being mess up. I think other kids should care about these things because no one would like to be bully and it wrong, other kids should also care because if a tornado comes they would be sad if there family was dead or spread out. People should know this stuff because bully came make kids kill there self, and the stronger a tornado gets the more families get destroyed.

Since alcohol changes the way your body functions, it makes you do things that you normally wouldn’t. Alcohol also effects your balance, that’s why it’s so dangerous to drink and drive. The more alcohol you drink, the more extreme it’s effects. Smoking: This topic people should know a little more about than the other 2. Smoking is something that you should never do, but just if you do smoke here are some facts about the it. For starters cigarttes are made of a plant called tobacco. Inhaling smoke in air damages the cells in your lungs. This is also why second hand smoke is bad. The tar cigarettes literally coat your lungs, turning them black over time. Now I don’t know about you, but I do not want black coating on my lungs. I hope this essay taught you at least one thing about these three topics, but if they didn’t t its always good to review.

Some things in life not everybody knows! Like 3 important topics for your body one is Alcohol, Drug Abuse, and Braces. Alcohol is very important because it’s the 2nd death related cause. Braces are important to help your teeth and have a great smile. Drug abuse has been affecting teens & schools! Many people have thought most of the things are nothing or doesn’t matter but it really does.
Let me tell you one thing about alcohol never drink & drive because when you drink alcohol your balance decreases. Make you dizzy, cause muscle aches, and affect your feeling to people. But most importantly it will slow down your nervous system. Alcohol isn’t the best drink to have at a party or anywhere you go.
Braces support you and your teeth. I would love to have braces but not yet. I found out I have an overbite. If anyone really loves their teeth they would try braces to get a healthy smile and feel better about themselves. One warning for people that get their braces off is: if you take out your retainer, your old teeth will go back to the way they were before. Be careful have braces is kind of scary. They help you in everyway.
Drug abuse is affecting teens & schools. When people do drugs they can be hyper or be jittery like they drank to much coffee. When you don’t do drugs you’re keeping yourself from having strokes. When you do drugs you can have seizures and can cause death. That is a warning for people trying to do drugs for the first time. MAKE WISE DECISIONS!!!!

This other video that I watched is regarding health. It is called acne. Acne occurs when hair follicles(pore)oily. Skin has oil glands called sebaceous glands, that produce an oil called sebum that lubricates the hair and skin. There are all kinds of different zits such as:
WHITEHEADS happen when a pore gets clogged but stays closed.
If a pore gets clogged but stays open the surface can darken into a BLACKHEAD.
A PIMPLE is a red bump caused by bacteria and dead skin getting under the skin’s surface.

I have 3 topics to talk to you about my first topic is going to be about Charles Darwin who was a scientist who studied science. My second topic is going to be about the Sahara desert. It is one of the hottest places on earth. My last topic is going to be about one of the most important people in science ever and his name is Leonardo de Davinchi smartest in the fifteen century. And those are the important topics I am going to converse about.
Charles Darwin was a quick-witted scientist. Who studied science but was more advanced at nature and astronomy so he studied that. In 1826 Charles Robert Darwin singed for a job to sail in a famouse ship now that was called the HMS beagle to sail around the tip of Africa and experimenting on science. After exploring coral reefs, the Beagle continued on its way, reaching the Cape of Good Hope on the southern tip of Africa at the end of May 1836. Sailing back into the Atlantic Ocean, the Beagle, in July, reached St. Helena, the remote island where Napoleon Bonaparte had died in exile. The Beagle also reached a British outpost on Ascension Island in the South Atlantic, where Darwin received some very welcome letters from his sister in England. Leonardo da Vinci is interesting to me because basically he was a man with an advanced brain and a visualized mind to create anything that his brain came upon on. The three topics that I found exceptionally interesting were headaches, eating disorders, and coral reefs. All three of these are very important to me because, I get head aches easily, eating disorders run in my family, and our planets coral reefs are in danger. I think others should care about these because they are things that run rampant in our communities and in our fragile environment. These topics having many interesting facts such as, corral is not a plant, but an animal. Also, Muscular headaches occur when muscles in your face or neck.
The very first topic I shall go into detail about is corral reefs. I have always been interested in corral reefs, not only because of their beauty and diversity, but also because of the many great animals they are home to. They help sustain life and wildlife communities within the ocean. But, corral reefs tend to be in warm shallow waters because they need sunlight to sustain life. The larger corrals tend to be solitary while the smaller group together to form communities, or corral reefs. The main fact that interested me the most was that corral s an animal, but they are sessile which means that they do not move.
When I saw this video on the list I immediately clinked on it because I am prone to getting headaches. I believe that others do care about headaches because, headaches can be caused by stress (When you grind your teeth together) and in this economy people have been stressed a lot more than in the past. I am lucky though because I do not get migraines, another negative health trait that runs in my family. Migraines are a lot like headaches, but more severe and feels as though there is a sharp pain in one part of your head. However, headaches are dull and continuous, they usually come about because of stress or a cold or flu. Contrary to popular belief, headaches to do occur in your brain. They occur either in your head or neck, the two most common causes of headaches are either when the blood vessels in your head swell or when the muscles in your face or neck squeeze to hard.
The topic that has fallen into third place to interest me is eating disorders. I find this topic very interesting because my family has a history of eating disorders. Though I am lucky enough not to suffer from one. Others should care about this topic because it is a very serious issue in our communities and more people than most expect suffer from this affliction. The problem with eating disorders is that they are mainly physiological, the people suffering from this have it placed in their minds that no matter how thin they become they still are fat. The two main disorders are Anorexia and Bulimia. Anorexia is when a person starves himself or herself and Bulimia is when a person eats a drastic amount of food then forces the food out naturally. The side affects are dangerous and unappealing, your heartbeat slows down, your hair falls out and your immune system becomes weaker, making you more susceptible to becoming sick.
These topics are very important to me, not only for the reasons listed above, but also because they are all major issues in our communities and on our planet. Almost every person there has at least known a person with headaches or an eating disorder. We are all very different people, but we can all say that there are issues that we can sympathies with. These topics are important to me and others should care about them too.

I watched videos about blood, color and faces. I learned many things. I am going to tell you how these videos are interesting, why others should care, and what information people should know. I think that it is important because the blood is very important for your body because it’s what keeps your body running. And if you lose some blood you can die.
The topic that I am going to talk to you about is blood. Blood is very important. This topic is interesting to me because I learned new stuff. Other people should care about this topic because it has to do with them. They should care because blood is very important to our bodies because it is what keeps our blood flowing. People should know that blood is our bodies’ massager.
The topic I am going to talk to you about is color. This topic is important to me because I learned to facts that I didn’t know. Other should care about this topic because many enjoy drawing and coloring. Other should care about this topic because it’s very interesting. Have you ever wondered how the rainbow is formed or where the colors come from? People should know that the electromagnetic spectrum is the name for a bunch of type of radium including visual light.
The last topic I am going to talk to you about is faces. This topic is interesting because we all have question about faces. Like how come each of us have different shaped face or how come we all have different colored faces. People should care about this topic because we need faces or we would all like weird and scary. People should know that how dark your skin is depends on how much of dark pigment called mullion your skin has.
In conclusion I have talk to you about three topics that are interesting. I have talk to you about why people should care about the topic and what information people should know. I learned many things. I also learned new and important facts. These topics are very helpful.
I suggest that scientists prevent oilrig from working. If oilrigs stopped working we wouldn’t have oil spills in the future. Lately April’s oil spill has been killing animals and has completely covered animals. April’s oil spill happened because of an oilrig that exploded. They might also need to check pipes every once in a while. Pipes leading to many homes could have leak that could explode something and many people could die. It would be very safe if we didn’t have any oil spills.
ReplyDeleteWe use oil to get gas, to refill our cars, and to heat up our homes. That is too much oil all together. To prevent us from using less oil people should ride bikes instead of using a car. We could also use solar panels on cars so we could use sun energy instead of oil. Heating up our homes is for our sake but I think we might be able to make something that let us heat our homes so oil won’t be a problem. Not using oil will make oil spills less of a problem.
We need to prevent oil spills from happening so we don’t kill animals. Oil slick is headed to a wildlife nature preserve and can kill endangered species. The problem is we are losing endangered species and other animals. The food chain is getting messed up and those animals are dying. I don’t like it so I wouldn’t like to see any more oil spills happening. It isn’t cool to see dead animals. It is really sad to see something die and it makes me think what can I do to stop it.

ReplyDeleteIn this essay I will be explaining 3 topics that I watched on Brain Pop. The first thing I leaned about was nails. The second thing was about touch. The third thing I learned was about hearing. I found these 3 topics interesting were because I have experienced these 3 things while there still functioning.
The first thing I will talk about is a nail.
I found this topic interesting because my nails take long to grow. They also grow short. But whenever it grows I bite them. It’s bad for your health if you bite your nails that are why I stopped. The reason its bad are because if you bite it too much then your nails might stop growing.
The second topic that I learned about was touch. I choose touch because I wanted to know how it functioned. I wanted to know how you sense what certain thing your touching. Its interesting how your able to touch something and then have your skin send a message to your brain telling you what object you are currently touching. That’s the interesting part!
The third topic I choose was hearing. I choose hearing because I wanted to find out an interesting fact that people have different opinions on. The fact was that if the thing on the inner ear was really called the eardrums. Well it was, but the only reason they call it that was because when the three parts smash together it looked like drums. That was the whole reason I choose that topic because I wanted to learn 1 fact that people kept debating on.
These are the three topics I found interesting. I have learned basically three important details. I have found1 information on my nails. I found 1 important information on touch. I found 1 important information on hearing. And you have learned 3 important information’s on your body from these 3 subjects.

Today we are going to be talking about three health topics. They are babies, chicken pox and the last one is fat. The reason I picked the three topics is because I thought the three topics were interesting. The reason why I picked these is because if you know this stuff it can help you for the rest of your life. Those three things we are going to be talking.
In this paragraph we are going to be talking about babies. Did you know that you need a man sperm cell to get a woman pregnant? A man does NOT have a reproductive system they has reproductive organs. When a sperm and an egg cell joins together to Mack a whole cell. This is going to be the same for the rest of your life.
In this paragraph we are going to be talking about chicken pox and NO chicken pox does not have anything to do with chickens. A germ called varicella-zousted virus causes chicken pox. You most likely get chicken pox when you are a child not when you are an adult. Did you know that before they made a vixen over 500 people got chicken pox? You should get you shouts so you don’t get it.
In this paragraph we are going to be talking about fats. Fats are important for your body the reason why is because you need energy more then you needing nutrients. Nutrients including fat substances that your body uses for energy. All fats are made up of hydrogen, oxygen and carbon. When your body brakes down the best way is to drink water. This can help you stay healthy and not get over weight.
Today we talked about health. We also talked about the fats, chicken pox and babies. The reason why I talked about three things is because they can HELP you stay healthy. They also are life long lessons. The reason why I also picked them also is because they can help you go far in life.
The 3 interesting topics in science and health are most interesting to me, which are Adhd, shark attacks, and Autism. They made learn a lot of things from these science topics. I got the topics from brain pop. Brain pop is a website that has all the science, health, art, music, social studies, English, and technology videos that you wonder about.
ReplyDeleteThe first topic was autism. Autism is a class of neurological development problems that people can be born with. Symptoms of autism vary from person to person and they’re not always obvious. So its really hard to tell a person if they have autism or not. And also some autism kids often play by themselves. So babies that have autism don’t smile and laugh.
The second topic is Adhd. Adhd stands for attention Deficit hyperactivity disorder that is a long name. Doctors aren’t exactly sure what causes Adhd they think it has something to do with levels of certain brain chemicals. Some may have learning disabilities, some may not be hyperactive at all, and others may have trouble with motor skills and coordination. Kids with Adhd are just as smart as everybody else, the problem is that the have more trouble focusing.
The last topic is shark attacks. They are really extremely rare, but in the United States there are usually fewer than 50 attacks every year every year and only two or three of result in death. Hundred years ago, swimming wasn’t a popular activity. As more people started swimming, more people got killed. And also wearing jewelry and flashy outfits, so all people should avoid this and people splash around more than necessary sharks can mistake that for a fish or seal in distress, their favorite dinner.
So these are the intersecting topics in science and health. So all of these topics are important to everyone in world. Also these topics are from brain pop so their videos are very educational.
In science I chose two topics that interest me to write about. The first topic I chose was Cats. Then Human Evolution, Both of those topics are just things that I have been curios about lately. I’ve been wondering been wondering why do people say cats have nine lives? is this the last stage of evolution for humans?
ReplyDeleteI chose cats as my first topic because who doesn’t like cats? And they are just very interesting animals. They sneak and can be fierce but they can also be very cuddly sometimes. I learned interesting things about them like even though they are mainly solitary animals when house cats become out door cats they some times live in colonies together so they can have a better chance of living outdoors. I also learned that their whiskers are as long as their body is wide so they can tell if they are going to fit through something or not without putting their whole body through the small space. Cats can do a lot of interesting things but a common mistake is that cats have nine lives and that they can land on their feet from any height. That is not true.
For my second topic I chose Human Evolution. I chose this because I am very curious about humans and how came to be humans and are we going to evolve further and if we do, how will we change? While watching a video on brain pop I found out a lot about human evolution like humans and apes share a common ancestor called the missing link. I also learned that the oldest found hominid is thought to be Sahelanthropus tchadensis. I really like this topic because we are probity not through with evolving yet and in another billions of years we will be different and I think learning about our past before we can try to predict our future.
Today I am going to talk about the three science videos I watched on brain pop. And they were under the topic called famous scientist. And the names of the videos are called Albert Einstein, Galileo Galile and Leonardo Da Vinci. And these are the videos that make science interesting to me. And they are important to society. I am going to start off with Albert Einstein. And Albert Einstein is incredibly amazing because he taught his self geometry at age twelve. But when his family moved to Italy he dropped out of school. He would cut class just to play the violin. He was also not a very good reader but the school he went to had very strict teachers. A second famous scientist that I heard of while watching the brain pop videos is called Galileo Galile. Galileo is famous because of his theory of space. He is also famous because he has studied other artificial scientist ideas and proven them wrong. He looked trough a telescope to see that there were valleys and mountains on the moon. But in Galileo’s time any thing that went against Aristotle’s ideas were suspect. So after that Galileo Galile stood trial at roman court. A third famous scientist I learned about on the brain pop videos is also famous. And his name is Leonardo Da Vinci. Leonardo was skilled in many great things like throwing parties, cooking and lumbering. Leonardo Da Vinci was a very excellent and the best example of a renaissance man. He was also famous for painting a well know painting called Mona Lisa. These three great scientists were a great help in today’s present. And without them we would not had been what we are today. And they gave us the technology to do things that we would have done what we did today. They also played a big part in today’s society. And those are the scientists I studied.

ReplyDeleteThis video that I watched was based on health. It was Called Puberty. Boys get there later than girls do. Puberty begins in girls around the ages of 10 or 11. During Puberty boys start growing hair in there face and there muscles start developing.
This other video was based on health. It was called babies. Babies come from sperm and fertilized eggs. It takes 9 months for a baby to be ready to come out its mother’s stomach. If a baby comes out its mother’s stomach before 9 mouths it’s called a pre moocher baby.
This video I just finish watching is based on health. It’s called death. Every person living today is bound to die. Even though people’s lungs stop working there are still ways to rivive. Doctors consider people dead when they have no brain electricity to consistently think.
This last video that I watched has to do with health. It is called DNA. DNA stands for Deoxyribonucleic acid. DNA stands in the middle of your cells. It shaped in a caporal shape called a double helix.
